Some of my daisy seedlings are growing in odd directions. Help?

This is the first time I have ever tried to grow flowers from seeds. I have some painted daisies, and the true leaves have come in. I have 2 to 3 seedlings growing per pot, and as per the directions I read, I now need to decide which one is the best and cut back the others so there is only one per pot.

They're getting "leggy" reaching for sun. Daisies want full sun. I'd keep the more compact seedlings and get rid of the "drooping" ones and move them to a sunnier location.

Flower Seeds Are the Root of a Beautiful Garden

When you think of planting a garden you usually think of going to the home supply store, buying seedlings and then putting them in the ground. A much more traditional way, and a much better way, is to buy some flower seeds and start from scratch. Flower seeds are a fantastic way to get both variety and economy when building a colorful garden space.

Flower seeds come in packets that contain dozens if not hundreds of seeds. All seeds suffer some rate of attrition that increases as they age, but still a significant majority of all the seeds you purchase are going to bloom. That means that for the price of one seedling you can get literally dozens of plants. All you need to do is plant them correctly, and your garden is assured of success.

Since seeds are much cheaper to pack, ship, and tend then plants, you get more bang for your buck. Even better, you get a much wider variety of plants to choose from. A home store will get only those plants that travel well, since a nursery sees no profit in sending things that won’t survive a trip. When you purchase seeds, you get to determine the look of your garden personally. What a pleasure to paint your garden with your choices and colors!

To plant your seeds you can either start them in the ground or in small pots. If you use pots, then place two to three seeds in each pot. When they germinate and develop a few leaves, you can either transplant to other pots or cull all but the healthiest plant. The plants can go in the ground after they reach four to six inches in height. If you start in the ground, you will lose some seeds to birds and have to make sure you water sufficiently. Either way, you are still going to come out way ahead as compared to pots. Enjoy your gardening.

Are you talking about the comb? I assume someone has lice? I have one but never got to use it. Use the shampoo/treatment and to get the eggs out, buy an african american hair oil and the eggs will slide right down the hair shaft. A lot of people say use cooking oil or baby oil, but then your child will have oily hair for days. If it is meant for the hair, it will wash out a lot easier. Been there and done that years ago!

I need advice on raspberry plants...?

I live in Dallas Tx. a friend gave me the plants last spring from his yard. They are coming back real well. What do I need to do for them..such as fertilizer etc. all natural please I do not use chemicals. He also told me I was the only person he ever gave some to that didn't have them die..also said they should give fruit this summer. Any help is appreciated.
