I want to make an inexpensive water pond and i am not sure how to do it. Anyone with any ideas or websites to go to?
The kind of water pond i am wanting is like a goldfish pond in the yard. I do not want one of those black hard plastic inserts in the ground, i want a rock one.

Stay away from the preforms tubs!!! Make sure you get enough .45 mil liner to overlap and make shelves for plants. (Firestone makes a good 20 year liner) Don’t forget the underlayment, preventing rocks from poking nice holes in your liner. Get a skimmer box and a waterfall. I’d also recommend getting an ultra-violet light to keep the algae growth to a minimum.
Check out Savio.com, EasyPro.com and for a reference, LawnSite.com
Also, http://www.AquariusIrrigation.com has pond kits made up for you, soup to nuts, with instructions for a fair price. Best off calling them, they know their stuff. I believe free shipping as well!
I had a landscaper who used the old HUGE satellite dishes that are obsolete these days. It makes a perfect pond.
There are heaps of websites on this topic. Here are a few that I found helpful:
